How to integrate TeamBrain hyperlinks?

We are back for a new series of articles that will allow you to familiarize yourself with the various features of TeamBrain.

TeamBrain hyperlinks

When writing answers with a link, the answer can be visually enhanced by including a ”
“with the ‘hidden’ hyperlink, or create a button with that link (which can be traced).

First, here is how a TeamBrain hyperlink normally looks when you embed it: the link is completely unfolded and it’s not really aesthetic, is it?

This is also what our team thought, so we decided to push this feature further and offer you two improved display versions that you can see below.

the two versions of link formatting

How does it work?

To insert the “link type 1” version, otherwise known as a hidden hyperlink:

  1. 1. Go to “Modify Answer”,
  2. 2. Copy the link
  3. 3. Go to the string icon at the top of the answer formatting bar
  4. 4. Fill in the url, the text and choose ‘new tab’ in “Target” so that your visitor does not leave your page.

The second display version is the hyperlink in a button:

  1. 1. Go to “Modify Answer”,
  2. 2. Copy the link
  3. 3. Go to the “Call to Action” icon at the top of the response formatting bar
  4. 4. Create a new button
  5. 5. Enter its name and label (what will appear on the button for the end user), its url, its color and validate.
